  5. batter is the stuff your fish and chips is covered in. when uncooked it only comes in a white pasty colour. furthermore no one would want to eat i raw- its flour and beer and water mixed together. massive fail

  6. No. Batter is "a liquid or semiliquid mixture, as of flour, eggs, and milk, used in cooking".

    Massive fail.

  7. Stupid Anonymous is stupid. Eating raw cake batter is the best part of making a cake. Massivest fail - at corrections, cakes and life.

  9. Anon eats his own baby batter, he totally should know there is more than one type of batter. What a failure.

  10. "flour eggs and milk are all white if you haven't noticed."

Firstly, this is not at all relevant, but if we're going to be pedantic, egg yolks aren't white at all.

"also, i know you are stupid anonymous it is not cake batter, it is called cake mix. fucking imbeciles"

No. I'm not entirely sure why you're so intent on arguing with the actual definition of a word. I don't care what you call it. The definition of 'batter' is clear. If you have a problem with it, you can try changing the definition, but until you successfully do that, you're completely wrong.

I'll write it again just in case you missed it the first time, Batter is "a liquid or semi-liquid mixture". If you really want to go into the details, batter comes from the french word "battre" which means 'to beat'. Do you want to know how I know this? It's simple actually. I took a few seconds to look up the origin of the word before correcting you. Something I really wish you'd do.

Also, considering the fact you insist on attempting to prove me wrong, "cake mix" refers only to the powdered mixture you can buy at stores if you're too lazy to make a cake from scratch.

Is there anything else you'd like to argue about? I'm bored.

  13. Woah. Now that I've come back and read these comments again, I sure did go a little crazy over the definition of batter.

  16. Plus, the batter probably has some form of chocolate in it to make it brown.

  17. "Imbeciles" do not use proper punctuation. It's a bit hypocritical of you to say that other people are imbeciles when clearly, you are wrong, and you can't even be bothered to use capital letters. Get a life.

  18. AWN! He's so happy licking that spoon it made me jealous!..
(even though it bothers me that he uses the "under" part of his tongue to do so)
Still cute. I'm loving to read you! Thanks (:
