Why? The top one because when you hide stuff there someone always finds it, the middle one because it sticks and is such a bitch to get open, and the bottom one because at that point you might as well put shit on the floor! Stupid draws...
Nice comic btw, you've made into my fav links CONGRATULATIONS! FANFUCKINGTASTIC! WOO!
I always heard "Scissors, Paper, Rock" myself (I'm from Australia). Always heard "Rock, Paper, Scissors" on TV. It's something for people to argue about, the order they go in. I think everyone can agree though, Rock is never the second one.
The things you put stuff in a dresser are called drawers. You can open one draw but in the plural it is drawers. "Draws" is what you did to make this cartoon.
I heard of other ones, but i thought that "rock, paper scissors" was the universal term, and the others depended on where you live (though you might live in a place where it's 'rock, paper, scissors)

I like how it could have just easily been a joke about the octopus limbs, but then you added the final panel, and more lulz were had :D
ReplyDeleteI have heard Rock, Paper, Scissors before. It seems to be the official term.
ReplyDeleteThe one I grew up with was Scissors, Paper, Rock.
Never in my life have I heard Paper, Scissors, Rock.
Perhaps I just went to a weird school? ...or hung out with a weird group of people?
ReplyDeletePerhaps it's an Australian thing but I'd need someone to confirm that.

ReplyDeleteI love you.
DeleteClearly the drawers misunderstood, and they are sad because of this.
ReplyDeleteThat was not the intention of this comic. Your interpretation is crazy random.
DeleteDon't talk smack about the drawer of this comic. By the way, it's "Rock, Paper, Scissors, Lizard, Spock, aaawwhh".
ReplyDeleteIn Europe it's "Rock, Scissors, Paper".
ReplyDeleteYes Mr Octopuns, you've made it to Europe.
I second that, at least that's the way it is said in good old Germany.
ReplyDeleteHaha... Nice
ReplyDeleteROSHIMBO
ReplyDeleteI 100% agree with the 2nd Anonymous comment!!
ReplyDeleteAnd a bit late, but I'm in Sydney, Aus, and do "Scissors, Paper, Rock".
Totally agree with Europe-person. In Norway we say rock, scissor and paper. Only in norwegain though.. And also; I love you Octopun!
ReplyDeleteIn New Zealand we say Paper, Scissors, Rock- it always seemed to have the best rhythm to me...
ReplyDeleteI love how there hands never actually change an yet one of them is still winning.
ReplyDeleteThey both have rock the entire time?
ReplyDelete(I'm in south WA and I say scissors, paper, rock)
If you read this in your head in a British, Australian, or American East Coast accent, it makes perfect sense. Stop hatin'.
ReplyDeletePaper, scissors, rock (Melbourne).
ReplyDeleteLet's meet up and have uhhhh fun.
DeleteIn central US...
ReplyDeleteRock, Paper, Scissors!
It's clearly the correct version, too, since that's what TV people say.
human centipede of drawers
